Cheryl Hines
Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on September 21, 1965 in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines, and her family resided in Tallahassee, Florida. She attended West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. When she began studying TV and theater productions at Los Angeles, she realized that it was comedy she had never really understood until she had studied at the university. Lisa Kudrow was her first instructor. She learned to improvise and sketch comedy. This experience helped her prepare for the part of Larry David's wife on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000). She feels at ease because the dialogue on this comedy is all made up. In the Groundlings Theater is where she performs when time can allow.
