Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada by her character of Bo. Silk is a Canadian actress born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of childhood, like attending rehearsals and watching of plays. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was an infant. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. They were married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows after her conversion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for this role. In 2009 she was cast as the main role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale, and revealed this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared them Top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
